I love riding, racing and exploring with all types of bikes on all types of roads and trails. I've always ridden custom steel frames because of their uniqueness, quality, and handmade mojo. There's just "something" about a frame that was made by hand. When it was time for a new road bike years ago, I took that as my chance to learn how to build frames myself and deepen my experience with bikes. Learning to build has been really rewarding as both a learning opportunity and a creative outlet. Since that first frame, I've been able to keep the projects flowing across my bench, which is my main goal... alway be building. Every one of my frames is unique, an evolution of the last frame, and completely tailored for the individual rider.
All my work comes out of my home shop in San Carlos, CA where I get a little assistance from my 7 year old son and a little dog named Sarah.
